ABOUT

The Profession of Arms (PoA) Reading List (English Version) comprises over 2,500 materials and is divided into four categories as listed below.

Ultimately, many of these materials will be linked to the 'CAF Virtual Library' so that they can be signed out electronically free of charge by members of the DND/CAF community just by clicking on the link associated with that material.  To date, about 1,000 have been linked electronically.

Each category has the complete reading list - with the hard copy ISBN number of each item - in PDF form at the top of the column.  The subsequent PDFs list each sub-category with descriptions and links to eBooks available in that sub-category through the CAF Virtual Library.

Note: The resources of the CAF Virtual Library are available to members of the Canadian Armed Forces and employees of the Department of National Defence directly from the DIN, the CFC Academic network and the RMC Academic network. To access selected databases remotely, please submit a CAFVL Registration Form: Off Campus Request.
